The Connecticut Rescue Mission goes above and beyond to guarantee that every person gets the assistance they require. Their dedication to transforming lives is genuinely inspiring. Serena connected with someone I knew during COVID, and it was incredibly moving to receive support during such a challenging time.

Norma Russel - Trinidad.

Serena and the Connecticut Rescue Mission generously donated a box of children's clothing from the USA to families in need in my home country of Trinidad. Additionally, she provided monthly financial support during COVID to assist families facing hardship. I have seen firsthand the positive impact she makes in communities struggling with difficulties. It is a privilege to know her and to represent the families who benefit from her kindness.

I first met Serena while walking my then 10-month-old baby down Main Street, struggling with a heavy car seat and stopping every couple of minutes. Noticing my difficulty, Serena kindly offered me a ride and later delivered a stroller and baby items. For the past three years, she has included me on her Secret Santa list, ensuring my toddler receives a new wardrobe and plenty of gifts. Serena checks in on me three times a year to see if my daughter needs anything and consistently brings new and gently used clothing. Serena and the Connecticut Rescue Mission are truly my guardian angels. Thank you, Serena!
